Aligned with our vision to be the centre of excellence for home hospice care, a dedicated research team at HCA spearheads our research efforts. We aim to improve the quality of life and care for our patients and uplifting the professionals that deliver the care.

We conduct ethical and gentle research, that carefully considers the needs, safety and goals of varied stakeholders in the palliative care setting. Through these studies, we derive insight and findings that inform practice, thus improving outcomes, while reducing the usage of resources.

Our research interests include: medication and care management in palliative care, advance care planning, home palliative care, grief and bereavement needs, dignity and legacy leaving at the end-of-life.
