HCA Hospice (HCA) was conferred the Special Commendation Award for Risk Management and Charity Transparency Award at the Charity Transparency Awards & Charity Governance Awards 2018.
The ceremony, which took place on 29 November 2018, recognised the efforts of charities in upholding exemplary standards in transparency, governance and accountability. This is the third year HCA has won the Charity Transparency Award, which acknowledges charities with good disclosure practices in line with the Charity Transparency Framework (CTF).

The awards are a resounding affirmation of HCA’s efforts in adhering to best practices and promoting a culture of accountability. “We have put in great efforts to ensure that the protocols related to governance and reporting are closely adhered to, in order to assure our donors, partners and other stakeholders that HCA is an organisation that utilises its funds and resources wisely,” Angeline Wee, CEO of HCA, says.
