Nursing Aide

What You Will Do

You are responsible for caring for patients with stable end-of-life condition in the Day Hospice Centre. You will perform direct care duties including basic nursing care, attend to patients’ hygiene & grooming, monitor vital signs and patients’ safety, perform simple wound dressing under supervision, assist with feeding, participate in activities and support some administrative duties.

Who You Are

  • Minimum GCE “N” levels and have completed Patient Care Assistant/Nursing Aide course or equivalent
  • Mature, caring and responsible with working experience in taking of the sick and the elderly
  • Able to organise and participate in patients’ activities at the Day Hospice Centre
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and in a team
  • Knowledge of basic computer skills is essential for simple administrative duties
