Support For Children
As some of our terminally ill patients have young children and grandchildren, we run two support programmes to help these children to understand and emotionally cope with their family situation.
- Children Empowerment Programmes
'Camp Encourage' is collaboration between HCA and the National Cancer Centre, Singapore. The three-day/two-night camp is for children and youths aged between 6 -14 years, whose parent or loved one has a life-limiting illness. The camp provides a therapeutic experience for these young people and gives them a channel to express their emotions and feelings through activities such as art and sand therapy.
The fun activities enable the children to bond with one another while the therapeutic components help to enhance their resilience in coping with difficulties.

- Children's Party
Besides camps, we also organise two parties a year for the children. These social events provide a fun and comfortable platform for the children to meet, relax and have a good time.
