Our day hospice care centres see to a patient’s needs away from home, catering to patients who are able to walk or are safely mobile in a wheelchair and do not require 24-hour nursing assistance

At the centres, patients interact with others and engage in constructive and therapeutic activities. Our day hospice programmes are tailored according to the interests and abilities of each patient and include but not limited to:

The day hospice care centres are open from 8.00am to 5.30pm, Mondays to Fridays (weekdays only) excluding public holidays. Patients may choose to attend the activities at the respective centres on days suitable for them. A nominal fee of $15 per day, which is means tested, covers the cost of two-way transport, activities and meals. To qualify for day care service, patients have to be referred to HCA by their doctors, who should complete a patient referral form.
